Product Description

V-MAR® 10 P is a colloid based product giving the concrete a fattier, creamy consistency. V-MAR® 10 P produces a more cohesive, highly workable concrete.

Method Of Use

V-MAR® 10 P is supplied in water soluble bags and can be added to the concrete at anytime during the batching cycle. Depending on the dosage level it may be necessary to mix for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, as a slight temporary stiffening may occur at the start of mixing process, this temporary condition is generally associated with high dosage levels.

The addition of V-MAR® 10 P will have no noticeable effect on the following:

  • air contents
  • short, medium or long term mechanical properties

For underwater concrete, it is recommended that a superplasticiser is used with V-MAR® 10 P in order to increase the workability to make the concrete suitable for placing by tremie or other suitable means.

Dosage Rate

Improved pumping and anti-segregation: 50 - 150 gms/m3. Underwater concrete: 0.1 - 0.5% of cement weight (normal average dose 0.3%). Compatible with all cement types.

Packaging

1.2 kg water soluble bags with 12 x 1.2 kg in a plastic tub.

150 g water soluble bags with 80 x 150 g in a plastic tub.

Storage & Transport

2 years in original, properly sealed packaging Do not store in damp conditions. Transport is Not regulated.
