DARASET 300 shortens the setting time of concrete, compensates for the set-slowing effects of cooler weather conditions and contributes to the development of higher early strengths. DARASET 300 can be used at temperatures above -15°C.
The constituent materials should be heated, and the temperature of the fresh concrete should be higher than +10°C. Only nonfrozen aggregates should be used. The substrate, rebar and molds should also not be frozen. The concrete must be protected against frost.
Best results are obtained when added with the gauging water, or as the last component of the mix, and then mixed for a minimum of an additional 45 seconds. Preliminary tests, according to official national standards, are always required before use!
