TYTRO® RC 400 is a high performance, liquid rheology control admixture based on nanometric colloidal silica formulated to improve cohesion, adhesion and early strength development to fibrereinforced shotcrete.
TYTRO® RC 400 is suitable for all shotcrete applications where high early and final strength, low rebound, and large layer thickness in a single pass are required, and especially in the following applications:
The dosage of TYTRO® RC 400 ranges between 0.5% and 2% by weight of cement.
It is GCP’s recommendation that trials are conducted beforehand to determine the optimum dose range to suit your application. If further assistance is required, please consult your local GCP representative.
TYTRO® RC 400 is compatible with the GCP TYTRO® admixtures for shotcrete applications. For use with other shotcrete admixture systems, we recommend that you contact GCP Applied Technologies for further advice.
TYTRO® RC 400 is available in 1,000L totes and by bulk delivery. Shelf life is 12 months.
