Cavity drainage systems are designed to be fully maintainable, as this is a requirement for Type C (drained) protection as outlined in BS 8102:2009 Code of practice for protection of below ground structures against water from the ground.
Range of Sump Pumps and Water Management Drainage Channels
RIW offer a sump and range of sump pumps, maintainable water management drainage channels, along with control panels and alarms to complement our cavity drainage membranes.
The Aqua Pump Pro range of sump pumps, and Aqua Channel products, has been developed specifically for the specification market, and are designed to remove ground water ingress from a basement.
When designing Type C structures (as classified in BS8102:2009), the product applied correctly, is capable of providing the levels of protection required for Grades 1, 2 & 3 basements.
